SMEs in Herefordshire & Worcestershire are invited to an event about the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the extensive procurement & supply chain opportunities.
Businesses across Worcestershire are being invited to a special event with FinditinWorcestershire which will provide a detailed update on the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the extensive procurement and supply chain opportunities available for SMEs across the county.
The breakfast event – which will take place at FinditinWorcestershire’s usual event venue, Sixways Stadium on Thursday 19 September – will be hosted by Organising Committee CEO Ian Reid, and Neil Carney, Birmingham City Council Project Director overseeing the Games, and supported by Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.
The briefing will offer practical information on the opportunities for businesses arising from the Games themselves and the related infrastructure and capital projects.
There will also be panel discussions exploring the potential impact on the region.
The event is open to all sectors and sizes of business and will provide introductory information about the Organising Committee’s contracting and procurement approach.
