‘Inspiring Growth – Journey to Success’ is a dynamic business support campaign created by Worcestershire Business Central to support the growth of SMEs in Worcestershire that have strong ambitions, an entrepreneurial spirit, and are looking to maximise their opportunities inside and out of the County.
The aim of the events is to provide companies with information on key issues to consider at the various stages of the growth of a business which is directly linked to the number of employees in a company.
In Worcestershire 80% of SMEs employ between 1-10 people, but SMEs of any size should consider four key pillars during the journey to success: Strategy, People, Execution of Strategy and Cash.
At the roundtable events attendees will be introduced to the ‘Journey’ in partnership with Bizsmart, hear from a business who is going through their own ‘Journey’, and speakers who will cover the four pillars in more detail. Companies will then discuss and take actions away to implement into their company.
Running parallel to the roundtable events, companies will have the opportunity to discuss issues in depth with peers at the ScaleUp Club being organised by BizSmart in partnership with Worcestershire Business Central. Find out more about the ScaleUp Club at this link.
All companies who attend an ‘Inspiring Growth – Journey to Success’ event will have the opportunity to feature on the FREE Inspiring Growth Directory on the Worcestershire Business Central website. The directory will be a valuable tool to share business skills peer-to-peer and will highlight the businesses looking to grow in the County.
Companies are encouraged to attend both the Roundtable and ScaleUp Club events or dip in and out of both. The events will lead up to a ‘Finale’ event at the end of the calendar year, where businesses will return and nominate the peer that has made the most progress with their actions on their journey to success. The chosen company will then receive a FREE video case study.
