Women2Web is back with lots of free, exciting and informative training and networking sessions for any business women in Worcestershire.

The last round of Women2Web helped over 300 local business women start up and grow online with funding received from central Governments Equalities Office.

The sessions are starting in November for local business women, aspiring female entrepreneurs and any woman looking at getting back in to work.

  • The sessions will focus on a number of subjects including:
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Creating and maintaining a website, and Search Engine Optimisation
  • Social media
  • Email marketing
  • Must have business apps

Simon Geraghty, Leader of Worcestershire County Council, said: “This is a fantastic, free opportunity for female business owners across the county to access tailored workshops and training sessions to help support their business growth.

“For those women who are thinking about starting their own business, it will give them the basics and help equip them with the knowledge they need to make their business dreams a reality.”

Lorna Jeynes, Business Growth Manager for Worcestershire County Council, said “We have helped so many ladies improve their business growth and gain confidence in their digital awareness. Women2Web is a thriving network of women entrepeneurs in Worcestershire and we would encourage any ladies thinking of starting up a business or wanting to improve their business growth to register now.”

Nikki from Styling Homes and Gardens who recently won a Silver Medal and also the Peoples Choice Award at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival had this advice to ladies thinking about becoming part of the Women2Web community; “Join up now!  There is so much to gain by being a member – everyone is in the same boat when you start out, and Women2Web has a great network of ladies who are more than happy to help you solve any conundrum.”

Karen from HR Precision Performance said “Sessions are friendly and flexible yet still professional.  Information can be shared between members and the lecturers are more than willing to help and provide valued advice.  I have always learnt something valuable from the sessions or made more contacts.  The sessions are also well placed within a location easily reached – I would recommend Women2Web to anyone”
