Speak to us today about finding an apprentice for your business.
Apprentices will usually work at least 30 hours per week and will need to be paid the National Minimum Wage rate for an apprentice of their age. Learning both on the job and via external training through a local college or training provider, apprentices will typically complete their work- based qualification within one to four years.
There are over 200 different types of Apprenticeships available at Intermediate, Advanced and Higher Apprenticeship levels. Anyone over the age of 16, living in England and not currently in full- time education can apply for an apprenticeship and schemes can be used to train new or existing employees.
Worcestershire Apprenticeship Hub provides services for young people, parents and employers to encourage the growth of apprenticeship opportunities and increase the number of young people becoming apprentices in Worcestershire.
