About Peer Networks

Peer Networks is a national peer-to-peer networking programme for SME leaders that want to grow and develop their organisation for future success.

Delivered locally by Worcester Business Central, we will create diverse cohort groups of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues. Through interactive action learning, we will enable you to discuss your own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them.

From finance and HR to sales, marketing and more, our expert facilitators will give you the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for you, helping you to build and strengthen your business and improve its overall performance.

The support is FREE 18hrs of facilitated learning and FREE 3.5hrs one to one time with the facilitator and that the activity will need to be completed by March 2021

Who is the programme for?

Peer Networks is designed for business leaders who want to grow and develop their organisation for future success.

The programme is available to any SME business that has:

Operated for at least one year

At least five employees

A turnover of at least £100,000

An aspiration to improve

 

Ideally, participants should also have:

The potential to scale up

The ability or potential to export

The Programme

Peer Networks is delivered through a series of high impact group sessions, with each cohort led by a trained facilitator. Also to add in areas that will be covered to include best use of technology in the COVID world to present the business in the best way digitally and also look at new business development opportunities at home and abroad.

    Businesses impacted by Covid-19

    In the case of SMEs that prior to the impact of Covid-19 would have qualified, but which now do not due to the impact of Covid-19 (i.e. drop in turnover, or reduction in the number of employees), that would have met the criteria prior to March 2020

    Sectors

    Flexibility is provided for the number of employees in creative industry businesses, which can include associates. This exemption only applies to the creative industries and does not include sub-contractors, or cover any other sectors. An associate is defined as someone who “Pays their own self-employment taxes and doesn't have any employees”. Usually not a LTD organisation, partnership organisations are also excluded.

    Note that part time permanent employees should be counted as one employee.
