WGH Business Update – May 2022

So, here we are almost halfway through May and a little over a month into our new delivery year and the growth hub has already delivered its first event. Earlier this week we hosted a business dinner with our colleagues from Worcestershire LEP. We invited businesses to take part in vital discussions around the type of support that was needed to help them grow and prosper as we headed into the next 12 months, if you’d like to be involved in more of these events going forward make sure to speak with our team.

On a similar theme, there is still a little time left to complete the Worcestershire business survey, it will take you no longer than 5 minutes and is your chance to have your voice heard, to make sure we can support your business going forward. The link is in the newsletter, and I’d encourage you all to take part.

I’m also excited to announce that the Growth Hub is working with the County Council to deliver the business Worcestershire conference later in June. This is a great opportunity to find out about the various support programmes delivered through the Growth Hub by the County Council. Make sure you reserve your free place through the newsletter.

Finally, if you work in or with those in financial tech then our colleagues at Midlands Cyber are running an event for you, that’s not to be missed. The event in June focuses on financial technology and aims to showcase the work of leading stakeholders, in the research and development of fintech and financial security and wider support across the sector.

I hope you have a great May; enjoy the sunshine and I look forward to catching up with you again in June.
